RiskMan International Pty Ltd (RMI), the developer of RiskMan, was established in 1987 by its only principal, Managing Director, Scott Esler.

First conceived in early 2000, RiskMan was initially developed by RMI as a platform for Risk Management in health and managed care organisations.
Since that time, RiskMan has become one of Australia’s most popular tools for supporting risk management initiatives in health and managed-care environments, and assists literally thousands of users every day to create safer healthcare workplaces.
RiskMan enjoys an excellent reputation for Customer Service and Support amongst its extensive client base throughout all major Australian States.
RiskMan is the preferred Risk Management solution in Victorian Public Health, and is also deployed across all agencies of ACT Health.
RiskMan is also the preferred solution in Australian Private Healthcare. It has been implemented in more than 70% of all Australian Private Hospitals, including market leaders, Ramsay Healthcare and Healthscope.
With its versatile framework, RiskMan.Net has continued the growth of its client base beyond the acute care sector, into industries such as aged care, ambulance services, charitable and crisis accommodation providers, and pathology services, where it is used as both a quality management tool and an occupational health and safety tool.
In 2008, RiskMan.Net is now deployed to over 400 sites across Australia.
Worldwide: RMI acquired its first international RiskMan client (Alaska, USA) in 2003, and also proudly supports clients in New Zealand and Malaysia. Infrastructure requirements are kept to a minimum by maintaining a small data "footprint" for each incident report, keeping database and bandwidth utilisation down to modest levels.
