RiskMan CIMS Successful Launch

On Monday 15th January 2018 the new Client Incident Management (CIMS) was launched by the Department of Health and Human Services.
RiskMan International (RMI) is very pleased to report that all RiskMan.Net clients that were scheduled to go live with CIMS were successfully launched and have been actively submitting Incidents to DHHS as per the requirements. Congratulations to all involved in achieving this important milestone.

RiskMan International is one of the leading vendors that has been approved by DHHS to provide an alternative reporting solution. We have worked collaboratively with DHHS to produce a certified Application Programming Interface (API) to transmit Incident notifications to DHHS.

The RiskMan Training team provided a series of free online sessions to assist with reporting CIMS records to DHHS through RiskMan.Net. The sessions were very well attended and appreciated by all clients going live on January 15th.

Any remaining RiskMan.Net clients who have upgraded their system (or are in the process) to include the CIMS reporting functionality and API are expected to go live in March when DHHS resumes their API testing services.

Next steps for RiskMan International will be engaging with the Community Health clients in preparation for their launch. In 2017 DHHS advised that the launch for Community Health would be delayed for 12 months following the initial CIMS launch. It is anticipated that this launch will now be January 2019.
