RiskMan User Group 13

By Sally Danckert

Posted on: 8 December 2016

The 13th RiskMan User Group was held at The Oaks in lovely Collins Street on Friday 25th November.  Over 150 RiskMan.Net clients were witness to the Movember mayhem that has taken over the RiskMan office with many members sporting moustaches of all shapes and sizes to raise money for men’s health.   Well done guys for raising more than $3,900 for a very worthy cause.

Whilst last years User Group focused on innovative uses of the RiskMan.Net system from our clients, this year was all about new functionality, security and exciting coming soon features.

Adam took us through the important subject of online security, and perhaps had us scrambling to change some of our passwords in our lunch break ;-)    He explained the threats to us, and assured us not to panic because RiskMan developers are working hard to keep your RiskMan.Net information safe, and really, thats all we need to know.

Adam explaining SQL injection so we can understand it.

We then moved on from Security 101 and Andrew let us know a bit more about Alerts II, Reports and Letter Builder.   Later in the day Anna and Andrew provided a more detailed tutorial on Letter Builder and Alerts which had some users very excited at the prospects of using these new tools.

It wouldn't be RiskMan User Group without Scott taking us through the Development Pathway and letting us know about some of the innovative features that are currently under development.  This year Scott inspired us to Roam as he demonstrated the RiskMan App that is under development.

Thank you to all the clients that came from across Australia and New Zealand to attend this years user group.  We really appreciate your attendance and the feedback that you provide to help us bring you an even better User Group next year.
